Swechchha Adhikari
I am a mathematics student at BYU, currently working as a research intern at Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP) in cryptographic engineering. I am supervised by Peter Schwabe.
I’m interested in both theoretical and applied cryptography, with a particular focus on post-quantum cryptography. My mathematical interests mainly lie in algebra and subtopics, including algebraic geometry, algebraic topology, and algebraic number theory. You can read my most recent paper here. We’re currently finishing up a paper for our project “Monogenic Fields of Cryptographic Size” which I am excited to talk about soon. :)
In parallel, I work on large language models, AI, and multi-agent systems in DRAGN Labs, where I am supervised by Dr. Nancy Fulda. Our short paper “Quest-ioning Teacher Agency in AI-Generated Instruction” will appear in proceedings of ACM SIGDOC 2026.
Note: I go by Sia in most academic settings.
