I was born and raised in Hetauda, Nepal.

Outside of academics, I enjoy cooking new food. I’m especially a big fan of East and Southeast Asian cuisine, like Chinese and Thai food, and I like to try out new recipes from time to time.

I also enjoy sad movies. My favorite is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which some people argue doesn’t count as a “sad” movie (how rude!). Another one I love is a Hindi-language film called Barfi.

Lately I’ve also been interested in quantum computing, thanks to Pritesh.

My dear friend and roommate Shital is also a security researcher.
